So just to complete our recent series of close-up product photography – here they come:

My brand new pair of Vans I bought totally out of the blue when we stayed in Cologne the other day! I never ever expected to manage to get one pair from an edition strictly limited to 500 kicks only! Yet, I made it and got these Chukka Boots which are most classic in itself! Not enough though, Vans collaborated with Carhartt and produced this shoe from the typical beige cotton fabric originally used for tough workwear! 

Now – both of my most beloved brands are combined to just one fine product – really much remembering me of my younger days when I used to skate around the block ;-)

Don't want to show off, believe! Just want to let you know that right now there's a big smile on my face ...

TILES

Ceramic tiles on the subway walls in Buenos Aires, illustrating history, culture or landscapes of Argentina or other places such as Spain. I've framed one of them which could look quite Japanese, but it's only coincidence maybe. These are too blue-toned for me, I've seen others with plenty more colour, lightful artworks.

What surprises me is that art pieces on people throughout history do not usualy smile... here or abroad, sculptures, paintings and so forth, do not show historic characters smiling... what's wrong dude? History is serious stuff man!
Hm, maybe they hadn't yet seen any film with Jim Carey... ¡Saludos!

BACK IN BAVARIA ...

AN AUDI 80 LS AUTOMATIC ...

... was neatly parked right on my doorstep this morning! 

Due to bad light and heavy rain I had severe difficulties in taking a proper picture. Unfortunaly I also don't have the necessary 4.500 Euros to buy it (as this mint-conditioned vehicle even was for sale)! 

Still, I wanted to depict this slime-green-coloured 70'ies classic for you ... enjoy!

LOVE AT SECOND SIGHT

Some Apple products are must have devices even prior they are officially released, others are definitely not. For me the new MacBook is more of that kind »love at second sight« as e.g. the keyboard is somehow hard to get used to. In either way a few minor issues do not distract from the finish of the whole package wich again is absolutely remarkable ...

Therefore I tell you what: I deeply fell in love with one of the most attractive 13 inch machines I've ever seen ;0)

You are gladly welcome to visit the panorama post update, on the Difuso (diffus) concept. It's just a name for now, labels are unclear. I like the natural "noice" texture from the regular 35mm film. I've balanced colour and light, but not more than that, I usually like things as they come. However, dirt on pictures is not usually useful!. I must reprint one of them, the one on the woman running to her bus stop, dressed in black. Eitherway, hope you enjoy the visit!

ALIVE AND COOKIN'

Hm... still needs a bit more of gentle heating, but I'll soon be scanning images from my photographic research, and posting them out before the smoke comes out of the oven. Warn me if you see that happening please!, keep looking at the picture... hmhmhm.

As I expected too much from myself while at the workshop, I got blocked, frozen. Three images are the most decent stuff I could produce. But failure was worth trying, I quitted this time, but I'll try again some other time!. So let's not expect the outcome to be meisterklasse as my oven is. About my oven, well yes, it's rusty all right, but it must have been meisterklasse in the '20s when it was invented...!

UNDER THE BRIDGE ...

... with a sleeping bag only (what a poor mate) could get quite chilly these days when you are located in Munich! But although it was pretty cold the last few days (nasty drizzle included) we spend an incredible weekend in Bavaria!

We even touched this years first snow when taking the chair-lift on a nearby peak!
