ZEITGEIST INTERMEDIATE!

Even though we're working hard on our next AGDO update we haven't made it so far. Our raw material is just to immense and time is too short (as usual).

However above you may see a little preview on what we brought from sunny Portugal ...

PHOTO EXPO

Yesterday was a great (rainy) day to visit an amazin' photo exhibition on photographers such as Gursky, Struth, Hütte, Höfer, and Ruff, on their work on »Urban Spaces« (click for more). Impressive huuuuge montages, suprising perspectives on those spaces, with such clever thinking! and... well, outstanding photography, that says it all!.
It's displayed at a recently redesigned museum on the Buenos Aires district of La Boca, an appropriately modern place for displaying art, even though it seems cold to me when empty. The district around it is a traditional part of town, near the harbour area. Pictures here do not show much of it, but well, I leave something out now so that I have something else for next time!!

PULSE

This week's search at »panorama« has to do with an object and desire. A love&damage pulse?, maybe. ¡Saludos!

PEOPLE IN MOTION

People and dispersion. People in motion. At a downtown traffic-light. It goes red, cars stop, and the crossing-street dance begins: people approach from both sides, for one second they fuse into one – even if they don't meet –, the next second they disperse. The whole city vibrates, like them, moves, changes all the time, with its many sounds, lights, words, images.
So, here's another »panorama« update.

LET'S FACE IT!

This is me. This is my portrait. The portraiture workshop is over, and this was one of the excersises we worked on, looking for things which represent us. Me?, a picture of my beloved rusty overused sneakers. We did other stuff, but it was mostly theory, readings, etc. Salute!

EXHIBITION

Went to Buenos Aires Foto, an exhibition for diverse photographic galleries and artists, mainly from Argentina and Latin America. I saw this interesting work by mexican photographer Alfredo De Stéfano. Also some interesting work by other artists. There are nice things going on.

All is well here, again, weekend feels great!!, I feel like going out into the desert later and burn some circles. ;)

UPDATED!

You are gladly welcome to visit the panorama post update, on the Difuso (diffus) concept. It's just a name for now, labels are unclear. I like the natural "noice" texture from the regular 35mm film. I've balanced colour and light, but not more than that, I usually like things as they come. However, dirt on pictures is not usually useful!. I must reprint one of them, the one on the woman running to her bus stop, dressed in black. Eitherway, hope you enjoy the visit!
