»ONCE« ...

... there was a lovely movie out in the cinemas – now there's lovely music!

How fun is that?

Firstly we saw that film playing in Dublin. Secondly we roamed exactly the same streets when visiting Dublin on January, 1st. And finally we by chance grabbed this CD when shopping at HMV, Grafton Street, Dublin ... ;-)

MATIAS IS SEEING FREEDOM WRITERS FILM...

Freedom Writers. Awesome, powerful, uplifting film, based on a real life story. Another prodigy around us. Great music selection too (80's I reckon, jazzy rap vibes in it). Enjoy! ¡Saludos!

WILD THING

Into the Wild. You've seen it I reckon?. It's a great film. Good character performances, refreshing landscapes, and thrilling helicopter shots!... no, I'm afraid it doesn't have expensive cars, supermodels, or explosions though... sorry. It's a tragic story, but real and impressive. The above scene with its afternoon light was soothing. Even though it lacked expensive cars, supermodels and explosions!. ¡Saludos!

I AM A YES MAN!

Yes!, I wanted to see that film. Yes, I hope you'd seen it. Yes, I'd recommend it if you haven't done so yet. And yes it's one of the best comedy films I've seen in a long time, there's even a positive message in it, even if it's somehow only mentioned.

Yes!, the soundtrack is interesting as a reminder of the film, due to
Munchausen by Proxy, a band depicted on the film, with a nice couple of songs such as Uh-Huh. Quite '80s. Sweet voice belongs to Zooey Deschanel, actress on the film, looking a bit as Meg Ryan maybe.

YES!, YES!, Yes Man, gets you wired just like a RedBull I reckon.

¡Saludos!

SLIDING DOORS

Sliding doors at the airport let you in, home again, there's a 1998 film, called Sliding doors, maybe you saw it. I certainly remember Gwyneth though I reckon she probably doesn't remember me... The other character is Scotish John Hannah. It's an easy, fun, nice film, Jule you may probably like it, at least in case you both don't know what DVD to rent next.

WE WERE BEAUTIFUL LOSERS!

Emma and I went to the movies yesterday and saw this most inspiring film about graffiti, skateboarding etc. I once told you about.

Great pictures from amazing artists, a rather special place to watch a film (namely a rotten club in the huge grey bunker located next to the Dom, remember?) and a gaudy crowd made this evening perfect for us!

Conclusion: Quit your job, do the things you like and be inspired!

BEAUTIFUL LOSERS

As you both know I am quite much into street art as well as into Nike Dunk collectibles here are two desirable weblinks for this weekend: http://www.beautifullosers.com/ and http://www.hypebeast.com/2008/08/beautiful-losers-x-nike-dunk-high/

The film I will hopefully sneak preview on November 6th. (keep your fingers crossed that I will get hands on some tickets). The shoes would just be nice to have!

Best ...

SO TIRED...TOO

Tough week is over, I am tired, however I feel happy. I recommend the beautiful film "珈琲時光", or "Café Lumière". I've enjoyed it really much. ¡Buenas noches!

LAST NIGHT...

On my way back home from cinema. You don't miss a thing,
if you don't be able to see the movie "ZOHAN"...

But it's kind of funny - in a
common way ;)
