... AND EVEN MORE!

Ok, then here's another post on graffity! It's a piece I found when we stayed in the Netherlands a few month ago. A piece – which even though it seems to be a commercial work – I pretty much like!
This dutch guy also has a quite nice portfolio ...

Enjoy ...

Ooooh... a real grand day out!

HOW TO ...

... survive cooking (trying strange experiments that maybe can't be called recipes ...):
Pizzelette (summer version): cook a regular omelette and place it open on the dish, add the other ingredients on top, (i.e.: vegetables, cream-cheese, ham, whatever you have at hand that is eatable) eat it like a pizza ...! It's better in summer because it gets cold quite fast... so ya better chop the ingredients at the start...

I AM ...

Mato, you're almost right.

I'm a green, nice thing.
But I didn't grow all the time.
Only when it's sunny and there are friendly people around ;o)

I'm loving to live in group and network systems and to raise a smile on your face...

I'm a Birthday-Sunflower... ;o)

HEY MR. DIDGERIDOO-MAN ...

... play a song for me! In bi, ba, boring Mönkebergstrasse and I'll come singin' with you!

Unfortunately you can't listen to all these strange sounds coming out of some old plastic drainpipes but one thing you can tell: This weirdo just rocks!

¡Hasta luego!

HIDE AND SEEK – PRESERVE MORE ART!

Sometimes, when they tear down old houses, you can discover great pieces of art. Art from which exhistance you hardly didn't even know about. The sad thing is that nobody preserves these old masterpieces of hand-painted advertisements.

Just picture yourself in one of these luxury appartments that soon will be standing in that place, looking through a thick window pane on some softly illuminated cracked paint on this very brick wall ... !? Would be nice, wouldn't it?

No – probably you never will be able to do so and that's why these kind of advertisements slowly but steadly are disappearing from our city scape ;o(

However and just in case you like this kind of paintings too follow this inspiring link here ...

Please enjoy!

ANALOGUE TIMES

This weekend we had rainy weather so we decided to sort out some old stuff – somehow a pretty boring thing to!

Yet I found some old audio tapes which make me feel like a 15 years younger – great ;o)

If you are interested in analogue music or rather in the old graphics from that time you should know this most inspiring website ...

Enjoy!

TILES, TILES, TILES, ... !

Our holidays have been a kind of a patchwork this time! Some plans worked out – others did not!

So for instance we couldn't make it to Britanny because everything [tent, sleeping bags and due to an open window even the car interior ;o)] has been soaking wet by the end of the first week! So we simply decided to follow the sun and caught a plane down south! Yet we didn't expect the temperatures to be that high in sunny Portugal – we had up to 40°C in Lisbon – Puuh ;o)!

Still we spent a wonderful time with many spontaneous ideas, some of the best sushi we ever tasted so far and of course with a lot of swimming in turquoise-blue water!

So please be aware of a massive update on AGDO soon!

Much love ...

So you see we're still on the road but alive!
Will be back with you in a couple of days!

TRAVELLER MUNNY

Friday, 26 June 2009

COMING...

Have a nice weekend!

Tuesday, 23 June 2009

SHOW ME THE MUNNY

Your munny was intended to travel back, prepared to be constructed and deconstructed several times within the group. But maybe 'cause of trendy and spreading grippe diseases it seemed quite reasonable to keep it around here for a while... so it's coming to OSAD, meet mad-mummy-travelling-munny, monday morning!

PHOTO EXPO

Yesterday was a great (rainy) day to visit an amazin' photo exhibition on photographers such as Gursky, Struth, Hütte, Höfer, and Ruff, on their work on »Urban Spaces« (click for more). Impressive huuuuge montages, suprising perspectives on those spaces, with such clever thinking! and... well, outstanding photography, that says it all!.
It's displayed at a recently redesigned museum on the Buenos Aires district of La Boca, an appropriately modern place for displaying art, even though it seems cold to me when empty. The district around it is a traditional part of town, near the harbour area. Pictures here do not show much of it, but well, I leave something out now so that I have something else for next time!!

SELK'NAM EXPO

I had the chance to visit a photo-documentary exposition on Selk'nam aboriginals, some of the original people living in Fireland, the southernmost tip of this continent, before foreigners came. Fascinating portraits, photos and documents on their culture!. But what always surprises me is seeing how different people see life similarly, in one way or another. No matter how far away in time or space they might live (or they might have lived), the essence remains. So what is foreign really? What is really not? Is there a clear division? No, everything's related. I say. However, this is nothing new, there's something called globalisation, right? Yeap. So. Today, fortunately enough Selk'nam culture survives through the last direct descendants and this kind of exhibits. The display is now over, but if interested, you might still be able to have a glimpse »here«. ¡Saludos!

CYCLE-EATING...

A free and abundant grocery, open 24hs a day... at home. Basil in this case (growing a mandarin orange tree would be great but some property owners might complain...) ¡Saludos!

RECYCLING

A few days ago, I found a piece of a washing machine on a dumpster. I thought that I could use it as a lamp. A few hours later, some wire, and here it is. A little bit of art on my ceiling.

HELLO

I am feeling a little bit sick today, so my face is yellowish.
But this is my. Sorry I took so long to post my first few lines.
I will be writing again soon.
