SHOW ME THE MUNNY
Your munny was intended to travel back, prepared to be constructed and deconstructed several times within the group. But maybe 'cause of trendy and spreading grippe diseases it seemed quite reasonable to keep it around here for a while... so it's coming to OSAD, meet mad-mummy-travelling-munny, monday morning!

PHOTO EXPO
Yesterday was a great (rainy) day to visit an amazin' photo exhibition on photographers such as Gursky, Struth, Hütte, Höfer, and Ruff, on their work on »Urban Spaces« (click for more). Impressive huuuuge montages, suprising perspectives on those spaces, with such clever thinking! and... well, outstanding photography, that says it all!.
It's displayed at a recently redesigned museum on the Buenos Aires district of La Boca, an appropriately modern place for displaying art, even though it seems cold to me when empty. The district around it is a traditional part of town, near the harbour area. Pictures here do not show much of it, but well, I leave something out now so that I have something else for next time!!

SELK'NAM EXPO
I had the chance to visit a photo-documentary exposition on Selk'nam aboriginals, some of the original people living in Fireland, the southernmost tip of this continent, before foreigners came. Fascinating portraits, photos and documents on their culture!. But what always surprises me is seeing how different people see life similarly, in one way or another. No matter how far away in time or space they might live (or they might have lived), the essence remains. So what is foreign really? What is really not? Is there a clear division? No, everything's related. I say. However, this is nothing new, there's something called globalisation, right? Yeap. So. Today, fortunately enough Selk'nam culture survives through the last direct descendants and this kind of exhibits. The display is now over, but if interested, you might still be able to have a glimpse »here«. ¡Saludos!

CYCLE-EATING...
A free and abundant grocery, open 24hs a day... at home. Basil in this case (growing a mandarin orange tree would be great but some property owners might complain...) ¡Saludos!

An old blue jean that will later become part of a painting (if it should ever be called painting...)
