SUMMER IN THE CITY – WE WERE IN MOTION TOO ;o)

PEOPLE IN MOTION

People and dispersion. People in motion. At a downtown traffic-light. It goes red, cars stop, and the crossing-street dance begins: people approach from both sides, for one second they fuse into one – even if they don't meet –, the next second they disperse. The whole city vibrates, like them, moves, changes all the time, with its many sounds, lights, words, images.
So, here's another »panorama« update.

WHAT A PRECIOUS GIFT: TRASH METAL!

I had absolutely no clue what was inside this plain white envelope Jule gave to me last monday. But inside there was one of these tickets I madly tried to bid on eBay for an affordable price yet always failed within the last second. I'm not really able to discribe my emotions only now ;-)

But let me tell you just this: Seeing Metallica live on stage is even more overwhelming than holding that bloody ticket in your hands!!! Never knew that »Nothing Else Matters« creeps under your skin that much!

Moreover I met Emma and Sven and together we spend a hell of a good time!!!

It's not only that I ran into this practical USB key (http://lacie.com) made from sturdy stainless steel the other day and that I'm happy with it ever since. No I also decided to introduce a new topic to our blog: »Gadgets«.

I think it could be rather interesting if anyone of you will spot a new »what-ever-thing« which is worth mentioning.

WE WERE SLOTCAR RACERS TONIGHT

Henning and I went to the local Carrera race track to go for some laps as well as for some beers! 

You can tell we had damn fun – fast driving and good drinking at the same time ;-)

SURFING MUNICH'S EISBACH

Yes – riding a few waves on this pretty fast flowing water somewhere in Munich's neatly kept city green right before the police catches you, seems to be rather a thrilling thing to do. 

Probably even more so if the sun shines as bright as it did last Thursday.

Delicious, freshly grilled prawns and a bottle of ice cold beer from our local Spanish supermarket, tonight were accompanied by Oliver Stone's »The Doors« on our new TV set.
